There aren’t too many businesses that are thriving in this current economy; however Netflix is not one of them.  Their sales were up nearly 40% in 2009 and seem to gaining ground; especially over companies like Blockbuster.  With this kind of success, who wouldn’t want a piece of it?

Netflix is currently an independent company, but their success has caught the attention of big name companies like Amazon, Apple, and Google.  If any of these companies took over, there could be significant changes to the way that customers access their accounts.
