The Bay area is a rich place to visit, and a rather nice place to live, too. There are many local cultures who make up the city, bringing traditions and customs together that make for some rather lovely and lively evenings. Particularly in the music, one can hear all sorts of Latin rhythms and polyrhythms, and the club scene is exciting and eclectic. This means that have a room booked at a hotel in Orlando can be a passport for lots of late-night fun. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants and local galleries to fill in the rest of the bill for a good time on the town.

When it comes to live music, Orlando has a lot to offer. There are plenty of clubs and bars that cater to all sorts of tastes, and chances are pretty good that you’ll find tastes of what you’re looking for. But one of the best things about seeing live music here is that it’s also helping to support a local scene that has ups and downs, and being part of it can help to further the cause in making it something exceptional. The ingredients are all here, but it needs some boosting to get completely off the ground.
However, that’s not to say that there is no music scene in Orlando , because there certainly is. The city, however, has always had a rough time sustaining itself in this regard. Perhaps it is because of a kind of sense that things are transitory here, and the tourism industry is so strong that it almost feels like the whole city is just on vacation. Despite the circumstances, however, there are lots of local acts that are doing very interesting work. Alternative rock, Latin, and electronic music are all part of a scene that is growing and developing, perhaps in spite of itself.
With places like the Social , locals and visitors have plenty of opportunities to see a host of excellent live acts, playing a multitude of genres, including experimental, funk, hiphop, punk, and all with a great sense of style. And local bars like Will’s Pub are more focused on local acts, and the atmosphere is easy and laid-back, with a crowd ready to dive in when the music swells. There are also lots of Latin clubs that will occasionally feature live music to supplement the dj work, which is excellent. It’s certainly here, then, the seeds and the talent for a thriving music scene, and maybe it’s happening already, but no one wants to admit it yet.
