Welcome coffee addicts! Not sure if you are an addict? Here are a few questions to help you know for sure. Do you love coffee? Do you start and end each day with a hot steaming cup of Joe? Are you known to drive out of your way for the perfect cup? If you answered yes to any of these questions then congratulations you are on your way to becoming a coffee addict!

We all know that being addicted to coffee can become a very expensive habit . Making frequent trips to the coffee shop can really add up over time. Here are a few small investments that can make your coffee more enjoyable and wallet a little heavier.

Most frequent coffee drinkers have at least one coffee maker in their home; however, what will really set you apart are the coffee accessories.

In the wintertime nothing beats a nice hot cup of espresso. To make your espresso stand out consider investing in a home coffee grinder and roaster. There is no better way to get fresh, rich coffee.

One of best parts of an espresso is the artfully placed foam on top. All you need to start creating your own latte art is a thermometer and a milk-frothing pitcher.

This season is for you so drink up and enjoy!

The craze for Vikram Yoga is still on, and still going very strong. In a city like Miami, there are more than enough options, due to Miami’s status as a world-class city with an extremely cosmopolitan population. One might well imagine that a place that has this many bathing suits would also have a lot of spaces to exercise. Yoga is one of the most popular forms of physical fitness right now, and the fact that it’s really a spiritual tradition sometimes seems beside the point. Or at least, it’s simply an added benefit.

It is, however, a very good way to stay in shape, and out of town guests can have an opportunity to step out of their Miami hotel and go somewhere where they can work off all the toxins, and also keep flexible for dancing into the morning hours. One of the places in town that’s accessible to anyone, at any level, is Hot Miami Yoga , where beginners are welcome in any class. There’s room enough for everyone, although people do get quite close in these classes, but get there early enough to talk to the instructor and sign up (about 30 minutes in advance is enough). Bring a mat and two towels, and enjoy the moment.

Miami Yogashala is much more intermediate and beyond, although beginners can come here. Taught by Fred Busch, this version of Vikram yoga is much more in line with the very precise specifications of its inventor, Bikram Choudhury. He’s something of a controversial figure in the yoga community, but his prescription for the perfect session includes a room set at 105 degrees at 40 percent humidity. It might sound ghastly, but the practitioners are very enthusiastic about the way this makes the body behave, allowing for a maximum flexibility.

To balance things out, there’s also Firefly Hot Yoga in Miami , which doesn’t use Vikram at all, but Vinyasa. This means that Vikram doesn’t have the market cornered for heat, and the idea of a strenuous yoga is spreading in new directions. It might be challenging, and for some, the competition doesn’t enter into the correct spirit for yoga, but it’s very rewarding. One added benefit: many cities that have Vikram complain that the rooms are drafty, keeping the temperatures too low. In Miami, that’s not a problem!

With most of the major cities in this country there are certain aspects that are specifically associated with them. New York is known for having great theatre, Chicago is not only the windy city but also known for its incredible jazz scene. One of the things Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is most known for is also one of its citizen’s favorites. It is home of the best cheese steak sandwiches in the nation and probably even the world. Tourists who visit a Philadelphia area hotel are likely not there specifically to have a cheese steak sandwich, though you can certainly bet that they will enjoy at least one of them during their stay.

Different people will have their own opinion on where the best sandwiches are actually served and how to create the perfect cheese steak. However, there are certain institutions that are acknowledged as having some of the best sandwiches and these are generally the places that tourists are most likely to migrate to. However, there are always those who are willing to explore all options to find what they themselves consider to be the best, which is what ultimately many of the residents of Philadelphia have done.

For individuals looking for a guaranteed and accepted as great cheese steak sandwich, Geno’s in South Philadelphia is a great option. One of the great things, in addition to their food, about Geno’s is the fact that they are open twenty four hours a day, which makes accessing a great sandwich whenever the craving or need strikes is possible. The restaurant was established in 1966 by Joe Vento who learned the art of making cheese steak from his father who had previously owned and operated Jim’s Steaks in the 1940s. Traditions and recipes that are passed down through the generations are usually guaranteed to be of high quality or obviously they would have been weeded out through the years. And when dealing with food, longevity of an establishment is always an indication of quality.

Indianapolis has been a great place to live, work, and raise kids, and do a host of other important things that make up the days and lives of the people who live here. There is a strong sense of community in the city, and it’s also very cosmopolitan, and has been a kind of beacon of light in the midwest. Those who are looking to taste some of the charms of small towns, while also enjoying a rich urban culture find it to be a lovely place to visit. There are hosts of attractions, including some splendid luxury hotels in Indianapolis, to make traveling here a real pleasure.

No big city is complete without its local alternative coffee house. No small city is really, complete, either, because the independent coffee shops are a necessary addition to any town. They can serve as a kind of third space, although they’re not free, because the price of an espresso is fairly reasonable for the opportunity to spend some time relaxing, writing, looking at art, hearing live music, and having conversations with the people of the city about the important issues of the day. One of Indianapolis’ most inviting cafes is the Earth House Collective.

The emphasis here is on free trade, where the coffee comes from farmers growing in some of the world’s poorest regions economically, but richest regions for coffee-growing. A social justice ethos guides the operations, and is evident in their entertainment offerings as well. This is the place to go if you want to hear local musicians who have their roots in the city, with a solid commitment to the global and the local. You can also see independent films, experimental electronic music, and, of course, sit back and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee on a rainy afternoon, or a sunny morning. Earth House is a lovely place to be.

Singapore is a fantastic place for travelers. There is so much to see and to do in this magnificent city state, and there’s never any end to the innovation. This means that there’s always a steady stream of art, entertainment, science, and technology that comes from the vibrant urban center. It’s also in the middle of a gorgeous tropical setting, so that when the city is something you want to escape from, there is plenty of nature always nearby. Singapore has a very interesting history, and is made up of many different cultures. Influences from China, Malaysia, and India are particularly present here, and visible in the population as well as the art, and the cuisine.

These cultures have a great dexterity and fondness for the gifts of the sea, and together, they help to make Singapore’s seafood restaurants some of the most delightful places on earth. There is an abundance of fresh fish, as well as plenty of other necessary ingredients, so you can be sure that your meal will always be excellent. These cultures also have very substantial pantheons in their spiritual traditions, and that means a lot of goddesses and gods. If you like to bring the two together, spirit and seafood, you might enjoy taking a meal close to the Singapore River.

There is a very famous temple on the river devoted to the Hindu deity Mariamman, and it’s one of the many splendid sites in Singapore. Mariamman is regarded in places as the sacred body of a village, and she is also an aspect of Kali. As such, she has the power of destruction as well as the nutritive power of the earth, and is also related to diseases and fevers. Her stories are complex, and the nature of this deity is even more complex, and Singapore is a lovely place to get to know more about her many aspects.
